My Favorite Author Rachel L Gardner

Rachel L Gardner is the name of my favorite author. Rachel’s full name was Rachel Lee. Her friend from High school called her by that name, but one day it slipped and came out “Rachelli,” and it stuck that way. Now she signs her poetry by the nickname Rachelli.   Rachelli wrote her first poem at the age of about eleven, in the 5th grade, but she had attempted to try and write a song at the age of about six years old. Her Great Grandmother (She also writes beautiful poetry) is her closest idol. She likes her Grandma’s poetry because she feels they make life more worthwhile.   Rachelli likes to write the poetry she does mostly for special occasions. She first wanted to write poetry when she found out her Great Grandmother was a poet. She wasn’t a real big fan of reading and writing before she read her first poem. She is a great poet, and I hope she will always be.
