Grandma

 1910-1998

Early with the sun she rises;
When the sun goes down, she sleeps.
A beautiful woman to show God's heart,
For with the Son she sows and reaps.

As Grandma she is known to me.
As my heroine she will stay.
I pray that I might live my life
Like she lives hers: a Godly way.

I pray the Lord will take her pain
Before her return journey Home.
Keep me in Your ways, dear Lord,
So someday, in heaven, we all may roam.
